Urban culture: Open fibre mill
Working together, browsing and getting to know each other
Every Monday and Thursday you can work on your own projects at the Faserwerk. Whether it's a sewing project, developing photos in the darkroom, or writing on your laptop - feel free to come by and put your projects into action. Where we can help (fabric scraps, explain sewing machines, provide coffee, etc.) we are happy to help. On Mondays, Leyla is in the sewing area and is happy to assist with sewing projects, repairing broken clothing or sewing you wonderfully colorful clothes. You can also browse for clothes and jewelry in the second-hand section and discover little treasures.

So: come to the Faserwerk on Mondays or Thursdays 3-7 p.m., if the weather is nice you are welcome to come outside on Ottoplatz.

In order to use the darkroom on your own, it is best to take part in one of our courses or open offers in the photography area beforehand.

Costs: What you can and want to put in the hat.

During regular opening hours as well as during workshops and in the open workshops our hygiene regulations apply:
Only 1 person/household is currently allowed in the store area at a time. There must be a minimum distance of 1.5m between all persons. Each person must properly wear a mouth and nose mask. We provide disinfectants as well as washing facilities, disinfect door handles as well as sanitary areas and ventilate regularly. Furthermore, we ask you to come only if you are in good health, i.e. you have not had any cold symptoms, sneezing, coughing or fever within the past 72 hours. Currently, only two people can use the co-working sewing area at a time. In workshops and workshops we will provide different work stations to be able to keep the distance. So we welcome pre-registration by mail, Facebook or on site.
