In this online workshop you will learn how to bind your own notebook with Coptic binding. For this, two spines are sewn together with several layers of paper, creating a beautiful open spine. We will go through the individual steps together, from folding the first sheet to the finishing touches at the end.

You should have ready:
A folding leg (optional - you can also use the back of a butter knife).
An awl (optional - you can also use the bookbinding needle provided)
Glue stick (no liquid glue please)

Technical requirements to participate in the course:
Stable Internet access. PC or notebook with microphone and camera as well as speakers (or headphones). We do not recommend you to participate with a cell phone or tablet (as the zoom functions are limited).
The course is offered by the provider zoom.us. Zoom runs browser-based or with a small installation that is executed directly in the registration process. You will receive the necessary link and further information from us with the invitation to the course.
