Urban culture: photographing at 5 kilometres an hour
A photographic walk
On this walk we want to let our photographic gaze wander into the surrounding nature of Hildesheim. Together we will walk through the surrounding countryside of Hildesheim for about 4 hours, enjoying nature and trying our hand at analog black and white photography. The course offers an introduction to the analog 35mm camera. Technical questions about aperture and shutter speed, the appropriate film and other questions will be discussed - but if you want to take pictures digitally or in color, you are welcome to do so. In addition, the course is designed to invite experimentation and discovery with the camera. Different perspectives and image details will be tried out and then discussed at a follow-up session.

Notes:
Having your own camera is desirable, but not a prerequisite for participation in the course. The Faserwerk will provide some analog cameras as well as black and white film as part of the course.
